Alpenglow Fitness is Montpelier’s boutique indoor cycling, barre, and more studio.

We know your fitness time is sacred. Our bikes are in excellent condition, and the studio is clean, air-conditioned, and inviting.

Our classes are led by dedicated, inspirational instructors who care about your workout.

Alpenglow has 13 Spinner Shift bikes with computers that track your speed, distance, and calories burned. If you care about that stuff, great! If you don’t, you’ll find kindred spirits in the studio—many of us are there to get an awesome workout to great music with nice people, without worrying about metrics.

Our new barre classes incorporate movements from ballet, pilates, and yoga, offering the perfect complement to cycling classes.

Taking barre classes at Alpenglow was a great introduction to the practice.

The movements are easy to learn and yet, provide a challenge. The combo classes are a great way to wade your feet into new workout methods, with confidence and without judgement. I cannot say enough good things about Alpenglow Fitness, especially about their Bar45 and CycleBar classes!

I started visiting the studio six-months ago after a decade of not working out. I have found the classes to be incredibly welcoming to all abilities, and the instructors extremely friendly. You quickly discover a sense of belonging and community.

The “bar classes” are strength-training workouts that infuse pilates, yoga, and ballet movements. The instructors offer modifications to make movements easier or more challenging based on where you are in your fitness journey. By attending classes Alpenglow a few times a week, I have rediscovered my motivation and can feel myself improving and getting stronger. Trying something new can be scary!

I spent most of my life feeling very intimidated by the fitness world.

When I started regularly attending indoor cycling, I quickly found my love for movement and a new strength that I had never known before. When Alpenglow introduced Barre classes and CycleBarre classes, it took my fitness to new heights. As a result of this, I have grown strong, built endurance, and I have a blast in my weekly classes.

There’s a fun group atmosphere in barre class, that sometimes makes me forget i’m working out, and you are given the ability to make every class your own. When I go to barre regularly, I feel noticeably stronger and my balance and flexibility have definitely improved.
